As a ol' South anon myself, it's a little embarrassing when you work hard to cover up your own accent in light conversation, and stuff slips through.Friends sort of mock me by asking me to say stuff like "old oil" (ohl ohl)
Though I can't get rid of my own accent, I can certainly replace it with another with just a small amount of practice, so I'd hope I'd be versatile. I wish I could voice some of the more mature characters, but I have a naturally young voice, despite being way too old to have it.
