The priest's death wasn't as important as the aftermath. Watching the losers eventually recover from it and forgive themselves was what made the show satisfying. The kobold fights were pretty lame but the goblin fights were great. It's a solid 6.5.

Fine, she does toughen up a bit at the end, especially when her spells become more powerful. Honestly though, only like 50% of them ever connected/were effective anyways.

It really wasn't that good. The only reason I put up with it is because it barely emulated that babby's first D&D campaign feel. Horrible pacing and amnesia is a lazy excuse to stop yourself from writing more fleshed out characters with the only exception being that annoying fuck Ranta

^This right here. I loved the tension of them being stuck as adventurers in a world where even the lowliest enemies were savage creatures that would bitterly struggle and fight to the death, using whatever underhanded tricks possible.
I enjoyed it, but I think a second season wouldn't be very exciting.
The pacing was comfy-paced, the real problem was they decided to try to shove more content into the last 2 episodes than the previous 10 had
