The worst pairing has to be Sakura and Sasuke. Like it literally makes zero sense no matter what pairing you hoped it to be. It just doesn't, now two chapters in it still feels like Karin's daughter is being mothered by Sasuke's wife.

The movie was terrible. Boruto is a little unlikable shit with a predictable character arc with zero subtlety (he cheats at video games to really hammer down the point). Naruto's predicament is easily solved by having a clone do the paperwork to spend some time with his family, but drama was necessary. The plot's advanced by him acting out of character and some shady scientist who just happens to be lurking in the shadow to prove a point.

Seriously. They should have just made the bad guys challenging ninjas encountered during missions far from within reach of the daddies so they can't help them, much like the Zabuza arc.
