You can choose to watch some of it, but the first arc is just the Battle of the Gods movie, second arc is Resurrection F movie. The next major is a tournament arc. There hasn't been any other major story arcs yet, just a lot of universe building. The animation has been bad in 75% of the episodes. A few are normal.
