A kid
A police thriller/mystery/drama with a wide cast of characters but only two main characters. The two MC's are police officers, one's a guy who's been on the job for 8 years and one's a petite grill that looks like a loli despite being in her mid-twenties who's only been on the job for a few months.
After being tasked to break up a domestic dispute on the sidewalk of a busy street downdown, the two police officers arrive to find its strangely empty and there is no domestic dispute at all. Instead, the nearest skyscraper to our MCs' police car immediately explodes on a mid floor, and debris falls down, crushing the car, but our MCs lucky escape within an inch of their lives. They were set up, but by who?
A mystery starts to wrap around the two main characters as they constantly find themselves in perilous situations obviously orchestrated by somebody behind the scenes, and the answers only start to unravel when the male MC starts to look back at one of his biggest cases of his career six years ago, revealing numerous potential suspects to choose from, some of which the male MC has been friends with for years. Female MC's just along for the rideand become's male MC's waifu eventually. Because of the male MC's snooping around and the female MC's involvement, friends and family of both of them are threatened and even killed.

I'm not sure what kind of monastery you're talking about but I'm gonna assume it's a catholic one, and I don't think being a monk is about appreciating the beauty of the world, really, it's more about spiritual discipline and inner purity; like, the dudes live in CELLS. If they wanted to appreciate the world they wouldn't isolate themselves from it. And to an extend I guess that can also be said of buddhist monks, like, they may want to become one with the universe and shit but it's not exactly the same as appreciating the inherent beauty of the world is it ?
One Day
The setting is an average school day. The protagonist finds himself going through a normal day, in which the characters are introduced. Banter and fun times take place.
After the protagonist goes to sleep, he wakes up in that same day. He slowly comes to the realisation that he's stuck in a time loop.
As each same day passes, the protagonist is capable of learning about more things which are going on in that day. There's a girl who is being bullied that he can save. He finds ways of setting up his friend with his friend's love interest. As he progress through each new day, he discovers that he's capable of managing his time to do more and more good deeds and thus fixing the lives of everyone around him.
The protagonist is also curious: what is causing the time loops? He eventually finds out that on that day his older sister was being raped that day and decided to kill herself. By a cheeky plot contrivance, the protagonist has already discovered that someone else was carrying mace with them - he's able to use that to prevent the rape of his older sister.
As the season comes to an end, he's finally able to pull off a 'perfect day'. He literally manages to fix everyone's problems perfectly in that last episode as it all comes together. The cour is over. The credits roll.There's a new episode out. The protagonist wakes up. The day has reset anyway. Soon the protagonist realises he's well and truly stuck in the time loop. His actions literally have no consequences. He slowly loses his grip on what being moral even means any more. Soon, he starts to do all sorts of horrible things out of morbid curiosity. Raping people. Killing people. Raping his friend's love interest in front of them. Burning down the school. By the final episode, he's no longer even getting out of bed. He's just staring at the ceiling, crying. Seeing the people he's killed worried about him causes him to vomit out of distress. Eventually he tries to commit suicide.

-In the cold Eastern Tsardom there is a large forest with a house on chicken feet. Within this chicken foot house lives the young witch known as Baba and who dreams of becoming a Tsardom Court Witch by practicing magic, spells, incantions, and potions everyday.
-After a brief encounter with the Princess Vasilisa who became lost in Baba's forest while playing, and saw Baba's amazing ability in magic she gets invited back with her to the kingdom to undergo training to become a Court Witch and be her friend.
-A major problem for Baba is that Koschei the Head Court Witzard and her instructor in becoming a Court Witch wants her to practice the most foul of magic, Black Magic and wants her new friend Vasilisa to become his young bride.
-There is also a huge conflict between the Court Witchs and Wizards who dislike each others methods in using magic, and who's fights draw in the growing Eastern Church and a Inquisition lead by a guy named Rasputin who wants to get close to the ruling Tsar family and Koschei.
The entire thing will be a nice comfy/fantasy mystery ride until the ending where shit becomes a despair fest.
I don't really have plot ideas, but I'm tired of seeing male MCs who are all either insecure beta high-schoolers or generic goofy but hot-blooded adventure dudes.

Then there would be three other members: One with a "stop" power, where he can halt time but still interact with objects, one with a Fast Forward/Rewind power, where she can move herself and an additional backwards or forward through time up to one day in each direction, and the last member is a guy with a save-scum power where he choose a day he's "saved" and can relive and change it, but has a one week cooldown.
Also a teacher who has a system restore power just in case the students get themselves in deep shit's fucked, the teacher can use her power to bring them back to Timeline 1, where no one has used their power up to the restore date.

Later, he reconciles with Betsy after dropping her off at home in his cab. When she tries to pay her fare, Travis simply smiles at her and drives away. In the final shot, Travis looks in the rearview mirror and suddenly becomes agitated.

In the near future, war is fought using triangle-based mecha (pic related). It is commonly thought that the triangle is the strongest shape, until a race of evil aliens descend upon the planet with an army of... square-based mecha!? The side disadvantage puts humanity at a loss, and the aliens conquer most of the earth.
All hope seems gone, until the remaining army pools all of it's resources together to create Hexagulon, the first and only hexagon-based mech. On Hexagulon's first mission, the test pilots, a boy genius and his smart-mouth pet bird, manage to destroy hundreds of the alien mechs. The boy is given the reigns to Hexagulon, and the fight to reclaim the earth begins.

A detective finally arrests the most infamous serial killer in Japan after two years of tracking her, she was a professor of literature and psychology who spread her twisted thesis through the art of her killings. In the final confrontation she almost stabbed him to death but the fight lead to her being delayed and caught. It was never explained why she never finished him off.
Cut to another two years with the MC waking up from a nightmare. He's finally in good physical condition again and wants to get back to work but behind a desk from now on. Bodies start appearing mimicking the Antagonists MO but what's really disturbing however is that they're including details that would not be available to the general public.
Reluctantly MC is put on the case but on the condition he's just a consultant not running after murders as time passes however he finds himself getting drawn in all the same. They start questioning the Antag but she refuses to talk to anyone but MC who again reluctantly gets deeper and deeper into the affairs. They exchange better banter than I can write

As time goes on more and more suspicious killings rack up with Antag becoming a critical dropper of hints and being charming enough that the audience gets a little too comfortable with her. The revelation comes about that there must be a organised network of disturbed individuals coming together to raise mass murder to an art form and that they idolise the Antag as their patron saint.
In a dramatic half way point twist Antag executes a a bloody breakout from prison with the aid of a sleeper agent in the police force and feels to the countryside to join her cult, she at last tells the MC that she orchestrated the cult's creation to give him the most splendid gift she could think of. The crime of the century and an unspeakably evil force that he would be uniquely equipped to fight and become the hero he so desperately craved to be.

People are living their every day lives when a loud message plays on all radio stations and television channels across the globe stating that everybody on the planet only has ten minutes to live, and then they'll die of a heart attack, and the only way to increase your lifespan is by killing other people, which gives you an extra ten minutes per kill, plus whatever time that person has accumulated.Shenanigans ensueand most of the world's population dies within days either due to being weak, unlucky, or people just too afraid to kill and ended up dying of heart attacks.
MC's a college football player who's one of the few eight-hundred thousand people left in Japan, and has acquired most of his time not through hunting people, but through defending himself. He constantly insists that people should work together rather than killing randomly. He has a few friends, love interests, and he even has a few enemies who's only interested in killing him to gain his time.
While most people have grown so desperate that they immediately kill on sight, there are still very small groups of people who work together in all of this mayhem. MC has the fortune of being in a group of friends from high school and college.
There's lots ofdrama, feels, fighting, some romance, with some minor bits of politics and backstabbing in the few instances where they come across other groups and stuff.

Superhero anime are growing in popularity these days, so I'm going to try and do something like that...
Due to the rise in monster attacks and crimes committed by super powered individuals, superheroes have grown to become commonplace. Some are even sponsored by public companies that provide them with gear and exorbitant pay. However, one stands out as being incredibly powerful, boasting a suit of armor with technology beyond that of what any millitary on earth can produce, and a completely secret identity.
What nobody knows is that this hero is a girl.
By day MC is an ordinary high school student, dealing with crushes and grades, but by night she dons an alien suit of armor and fights off the many threats to her home. Because her armor hides her figure and disguises her voice (and the fact that a good fraction of the prominent female heroes look like something out of a magical girl manga), everyone assumes her hero self to be a guy. On paper this is a good thing, but it becomes more complicated when she unintentionally builds up a small harem of female (and gay male) suitors.
From there it's a healthy balance of superhero hijinks with some more serious arcs when bigger threats arrive.

I've got some more from this scenario:
MC has a crush on the heir to a big corporation who attends her school. Nobody knows that he's also the hero said corporation sponsors. His alter ego is bitter rivals with hers, and would be enemies were it not for how both of them are fully willing to abandon their animosity towards one another to protect people. She also doesn't know that her crush is reciprocated.
At another point she saved a young woman with potent superpowers that a criminal syndicate was after. This inspired her to become a hero to track down the person who saved her life. She's very open about her attraction to the MC's hero identity, and is also friends with her civilian self.
The MC's armor came from an ancient alien civilization that mysteriously vanished, said to have ascended to a higher plane of existence, blah blah blah.
She's had more than one off world adventure, including preventing a coup on an alien world that would have resulted in the coup's leader basically enacting a genocide upon certain races on the alien planet. Because of this the planet's current rulers are in debt to her and she's close friends with their princess and current ruling king. Said king jokes about how she's the only potential suitor he'd ever approve of for his daughter.

Though she did saved him because she literally "loved" the character (much to the MC surprise), she also sayed that she needed his help with his intelligence and memory's capacity. When investigating the method of travelling to those universes, something wrong happened that maded a lot of characters from "Bad End" works to appear not only in their world, but in other worlds. Females that were humilliated (raped and stuff) and males who were depraved of their happiness (mostly ntr), along with the responsibles of said suffering, were now trying to take each world, either by vengeance or to conquer, and some of them acquired powers that the original story didn't have for some odd reason. The dark elf say that it could be possible to find a solution (or make a solution if it didn't exist) if they could recruite "Happy End" characters, and rescue some "Bad End" characters, and he was one of them, he joins her later. A girl gets killed by delinquents after she ousts a delinquent girl for having gonorrhea. Fortunately for her, she is reincarnated in a fantasy world as a princess.
The twist? She's a succubus and her father has decided to add her to his harem. Lewd hijinks ensue as the girl is slowly turned from a normal girl into a depraved semen demon.
On one hand, a sly little merchant who travels the continent not to sell her goods in a honest fashion but to rob graves empty of their sweet loot. On the other, a necromancer whose obsession with the dead was fueled by the sheer pleasure he derives from practicing the taboo. They were petty and they were proud of it. It was probably fate that made them meet in that tomb. Might have been fate as well that screwed them over robbing the surprisingly empty tomb of a hero blind.
So they made a deal. The necromancer and his lovely paraphernalia of morbidity would travel alongside the merchant in her caravan. His talent with the dark arts and her cut-throat cunning would help them weather the storm over head. Maybe find the guy who beat them to the catch on that fateful night. Maybe scour some even more cemeteries along the way? It was a plan.
And so across the world do they travel. An unlikely pair born out of sheer misfortune. As a front, they're a couple of particularly queer merchants with goods undoubtedly questionable to the common man. Behind the scenes, they're grave robbers, con artists, criminals, vagrants, and most importantly? Wanted men.
Drugging an imperial guard here. Blackmailing feudal lords for passage there. Conning would-be adventurers here. Selling their souls to greed and heresy there. And of course, grave-robbing.
This is not a tale of those to be cheered. This is not an epic journey to forever change the realm. This is not a story about heroes.

A Lv100 player of an MMO suddenly finds himself transported to another reality with all of his gear. He's absolutely slaughtered without mercy after finding out that, although all of his gear is real, his levels didn't transfer over and he's just a normal human. The girl, however, turns out to be a legendary undead necromancer and reanimates him as a zombie. Except, due to extradimensional shenanigans, he maintains his consciousness even though that should be impossible. The rest of the story is him tagging along with this monstrously powerful immortal undead in the form of a cute girl, transformed into an intelligent lv1 zombie, and his quest to return home while having the shit kicked out of him over and over until he eventually levels up (something everyone finds really fucking weird no matter how he tries to explain it) and he tries to find his way home while being dragged into conflicts between his insanely strong master and her equally insanely strong enemies.

For absolutely 0 reason, the world changes shape entirely depending on the scientific progress of any given nation. Many nations gain a lot of land, and a lot of nations simply stop existing. The new land generated is also very strange, being created based on what type of research was going on. This pretty obviously causes a massive boom in research, allowing countries to gain both more land and various types of resources. In certain countries like America, any land generated belongs to the researcher who created it, with the option of keeping that land or simply selling it away. The story follows our researcher MC and his research team attempting to find the best possible things to research and the most efficient course of action with the land generated, which is an issue as they all have different ideas of what to do with it.

A ragtag gang of bandits! Who are loveable despite probably being villains if they weren't the main characters! In a vaguely feudal era JapChinaKoreaNamThai hodgepodge setting! They care very much about reputation, specifically in the form of nicknames. The MC is trying to make a grand (nick)name for himself, but ends up being called "Squirrel Piss" by his mates due to an undescribed squirrel-related incident that the MC adamantly denies having been responsible for and causes everyone else sides to hurt whenever its brought up. The name seems to stick despite anything the MC accomplishes.
Desperate to change his image before he is known forever more as Squirrel Piss, our MC is looking for the first opportunity to do something cuhrazee that will make everyone forget about the squirrel incident. And what do you know, the gang stumbles on information about rich imperials having a party in the next town over! They ride, and arrive at the place the next day, after all the guests have shown up but seemingly before the main event. They get to work! While the gang focuses on beating up guards and picking low hanging fruit, Squirrel Piss slips past the main action to try to find a big score...

The audience is shocked, monocles pop off, pipes fall out of mouths and teacups are spilled, but nobody does anything to stop it because these rich people can't be arsed.
In true anime fashion, Squirrel Piss grabs the cheat sheet out of mid air like a boss and delivers the vows with the biggest shit eating grin he can muster. When he finishes, it's dead quiet. But then! A small, frail voice rings out in the silence, reciting her own poetic, beautiful vows of love and loyalty. The priest hesitates, but Squirrel Piss collars him and gives him the "DO IT FAGGOT" look. The priest weds them and gives Squirrel Piss the official, imperial multi wax stamped wedding certificate as guards start to arrive.

Squirrel Piss thinks to himself "If it weren't for these guys we could screw right now, hell they even brought the bed!" Tying his trusty rope to one of the pole ornaments, and fueled by the power of his unfulfilled boner, Squirrel Piss drags the palanquin and swings it at guards, wiping them out and creating an open way. The bride timidly asks if she can eat already, so Squirrel Piss tosses a bunch of platters of delicious hor d'oerves past the curtains in between attacks ("Save some for me honey!"). Squirrel Piss signals to some arriving nakama to bring a horse to the medium height wall he's headed for; when he gets there he quickly scales it with a grappling hook attached to knotted rope then jury rigs his prepared ropes and pulleys to make a block and tackle to be attached to the palanquin and pulled by the horse. They get the palanquin over in dramatic fashion (at least one backflip), then put it unceremoniously on top of one of the loot carts. The bandits figure that's enough, so they make a break for it. Raid complete! Squirrel Piss wants to put it in, but he's exhausted from all that exertion.

How about a boy who is in love with a girl from his school.
However the male MC is too scared to confess until one day he receives a text which has a random and weird looking phone number on it. Once he calls the number a female voice answers the phone. To his surprise its the girl he has a crush on. He finally gets the courage to confess his feelings and to his surprise she feels the same way about him. Overjoyed they decide they should meet up at school on the following day.
The next day when the MC talks to the girl about's yesterday confession the girl looks confused and doesn't recall any call from yesterday. Confused the MC apologizes and leaves leaving the girl perplexed. After some investigation the MC realizes that girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn’t exist in this universe at all. She is the girl’s alternate universe (AU) counterpart coming from some parallel universe, who has fallen in love with the MC’s own AU self, who too is unaware of her crush.
Determined by this knowledge he calls the girl again and asks to make a deal. They decide to give each other their darkest, most private secrets so they can conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question what true love really is.
Isekai where MC is transported to RPG world in order to be a hero. Due to a fault in the system, MC's body is destroyed and instead he is reincarnated as a level 1 with absolutely nothing special about him.
Meanwhile a second attempt succeeds and a hero is summoned. Hero then builds a harem while saving the world.
Story follows MC doing mundane things in SoL story line. Occasionally the summoned hero's super-intense, world-saving story line intersects. MC resents the hero for stealing his rightful position as hero (and more importantly his harem).
You have five minutes to come up with a compelling motivation for a female protagonist, that doesn't revolved around A) male lead's dick, or B) muh imouto. Go!

More than 10 years have passed since the last plane took off from the earth. Rusted railways lead into emptiness. The ether is void and the airwaves echo to a soulless howling where previously the frequencies were full of news from America, Europe, and China. Man has handed over stewardship of the earth to new life-forms. Mutated by radiation, they are better adapted to the new world. Man's time is over.
A few score thousand survivors live on, not knowing whether they are the only ones left on earth. They live in the Tokyo Metro - the biggest air-raid shelter ever built. It is humanity's last refuge. Stations have become small states- nationstations, their people uniting around ideas, religions, water-filters - or the simple need to repulse an enemy incursion. It is a world without a tomorrow, with no room for dreams, plans, hopes. Feelings have given way to instinct - the most important of which is survival. Survival at any price.
Meiji-Jingumae Station is the westernmost inhabited station on its line. It was one of the Metro's underground stations and still remains secure. But now a new and terrible threat has appeared. Hinako, a young girl living in Meiji-Jingumae, is given the task of penetrating to the heart of the Metro, to the legendary Otemachi Station, to alert everyone to the awful danger and to get help. She holds the future of her native station in her hands, the whole Metro - and maybe the whole of humanity.
