Anime has different focus groups, some people have blurred the lines too much and forgotten.
i.e Pokemon, Ghibli, SAO, GitS, Ninja Scroll are all anime.
SAO is pre-teen age, characters are around 14. Sweet spot for anime settings, and most seasonal anime.
Genre = harem, blurs reality even more for conveniences. But what makes it worst, people do shipping, even more so in SAO that had skipped character building with main couple getting together in the first book.
