The whole concept of the race for the arrow was that it peaked Giorno's contrast to Diavolo, Giorno had become worthy of the arrow throughout the story because he became aware of the concept of 'fate' and accepted it, whereas Diavolo denies it by believing as long as he can erase it, he's the Emperor.
Sure GER is broken as fuck but it rounded off Diavolo's defeat really damn well, by removing Diavolo's idea that only the 'results' matter, he had to face up to the reality he'd been hiding from for so long.

Why not? Just make it an easter egg type deal for the item, so if they do it, their stand will kill them (brutally) and then goes back to normal when they respawn. Make it ridiculously rare/raid level fragment drop like you are suggesting, like every WoW legendary ever, but make the pieces and the formed item sellable. That will keep the saturation down and leave the possibility of someone who has a ton of money buying gold to buy it off the AH, only to kill themselves with it.
Better yet, have it so the item reads "Must be used in battle", and a ridiculously low success rate so if a low level snatches it up, they get tempted to use it.

It seems like Josuke, the skeptic Atheist that he is, does not trust Tonio and his food despite seeing the food's effects on Okuyasu firsthand. He spends the whole episode antagonizing Tonio despite not having any reason.
Meanwhile Okuyasu, the less "intellectual" of the duo, is far more accepting of Tonio. He takes the blessings as they are and does not try to rationalize them in terms of looking for ulterior motives.
Thus it can be said that the take home message is that if you are accepting of God's blessings, you can enjoy them to the fullest extent. But if you doubt God and his blessings and constantly try to disprove or discredit him, you will receive nothing in return except punishment.

never played blade and soul, WoW could work, but I like the fluidity of GW2 honestly, not to mention there are a ton of abilities that change you current skills into new ones, such as having a different form that you build up a gauge to use, or being able to pick up weapons conjured by someone else a la the KT fight back in BC, but they have their own set of skills too while using them.
All very modular, making for a lot of different options, kind of like in ASB or HftF when you activate 'Stand Mode' and your move set changes.

I was thinking something like the first alien they meet uses his powers to disguise himself as the only survivor and blames the disappearence of the crew on an accident, and he has to keep the access to a big part of the space station sealed because it's too dangerous and then he tries to kill off the crew one by one. When he's defeated he group finds out that the aliens had been using the previously sealed area as a breeding ground.
