Maybe, but I imagine since most megucas work alone and aren't very amicable to others, that it'd be extremely rare for a girl to find out the true nature of soul gems until just before they transform.
And on the off-chance a girl did find out about it, they would probably just choose not to become a magical girl.

Honestly though, if you knew about the corruption and had to make it so that your wish countered that, what the hell would be the point in becoming a magical girl? Kyoko would be homeless and poor, but she'd have her loving family. You ever see a homeless family? There is often more joy and love among the homeless than the well-off. She'd be like she is now, but at least she'd have her loving family.
