To be completely honest for a second, I do prefer the original season's battles as they were actually pretty realistic (relatively speaking of course), the match against St. Gloriana and Saunders barely had any physics-defying moments and even the Maus not crushing the Hetzer can be handwaved away with CARBON COATING NISHIZUMI-DONO. But the movie managed to go full balls to the walls in a way that was still entertaining. Hell, I can't even imagine the movie without the Finnish scene anymore. So yeah, it was ridiculously, but it was fun in the right way.
So rewatched movie , it's even more awesome.
