It was Japanese-English wordplay but too convoluted so Araki dropped it and just went with only using the Freeze thing. Basically you take the Japanese spelling of the English word 'Three'. This is 'Suri', which is made of two letters; 'su' and 'ri' (Japanese letters are for the most part a vowel and a consonant combined whereas they are separate in English). You then make three, single letter changes to that word to make the Japanese spelling of a new English word, which Echoes then uses as a power. For example;

Sure Johnny's not got as zany as the other JoJos but he's one of my favorites for being the most well-developed Jojo. He didn't just have one recurring trait and ran with it through the whole part, he was a flawed man who matured from a whiny brat into a strong, grown man. Even if he wasn't 100% heroic and had gray morals, he was really well-written, and seeing his development all the way to when he got Tusk Act 4 was the fucking best thing in part 7.
Plus it helps how really nicely his character bounced off of Gyro's, their chemistry was something special.

I'm very fond of SBR myself but I don't think I can agree with this at all. It's certainly more dramatic than the previous parts, partially because of all the flashbacks and partially because of Araki's panelling and composition, but the story ends up kind of collapsing on itself at the end.
It's one thing for the likes of Pocoloco and Sandman to be phased out of the spotlight with the sudden shift in direction following the magazine change, but even Wekapipo, HP, and Diego end up ultimately contributing pretty much nothing to the whole story and getting no development. It feels really off-putting after they've been built up so much.
The middle third is some pretty excellent stuff though.
I would like to follow this manga but... damn, character design causes me repulsion. Maybe the story is good, but thought all those characters are AIDS sufferer.

I wouldn't say it collapsed on itself, of course it has flaws, I agree fully that Sandman, Wekapipo and HP phasing out is a genuine problem in the part but I think Diego still contributed enough as a character.
But aside from that, the part is fucking amazing in terms of writing, more specifically everything revolving around Gyro and Johnny, and even Valentine. It's like the opposite of the problem some of the earlier parts faced, like how Bruno and Polnareff felt more like the Jojo of the part than the actual JoJo of the part.
The writing for Gyro and Johnny, specifically things like their backstory and their moments of growth throughout the part are some of the best work Araki's done. I still get chills when I read the ending of Sugar Mountain and the toast they both did to the race, Valentine's napkin speech and the ending conversation of the D4C fight between Johnny and Valentine. Stuff like that made the part stand out in terms of writing over the other parts for me atleast.
I just realized that Pucci´s plan to obtain heaven makes perfect sense if you know how『FATE』,『GRAVITY』and 『TIME』works in the Jojo Multiverse, First let´s say that 『FATE』>『GRAVITY』> 『TIME』.
Pucci´s wanted to break free from fate so first he needed to break free from time and gravity, that´s why DIO said he had to let go his stand, and possibly his life to transform into something that could break free from gravity.
The 14 words are words that hold meaning to DIO who now has transformed into the green baby, and serve as a signal that the person is the friend DIO wanted and to let him know that it was him he had to fuse with.
This created 『C moon』 who was free from gravity and needed to evolve his stand once more, and Cape Canaveral is a place where it is easier to break free from gravity, allowing『 C-moon』 to evolve into 『Made in heaven 』 and break free from fate.

The Ireneverse is the same universe where Pucci died. The acceleration stopped when Pucci fell into the piano. We can see it because Emporio's blood keep flowing instead of drying and falling.
