If you look at the route map you'll see that the paths split out into 4 different screens by episode 4. If you're on the top path, then to be safe, either cheat on Sekai with Kotonoha, or load from the previous episode. That way you'll avoid the 5 or so most horrific paths.
Apart from that, there's just a bit of murder and mayhem in some of the bad endings, but none of it's all that messed up. I mean, it is, but it's the sort of messed up stuff that's easy to handle.
