That post just lists sales of Macross and Kabaneri singles for information purposes. Macross single actually had both OP and ED while Kabaneri only ED. Kabaneri OP isn't even officially released yet. The original post didn't even say that one song is better than another. It was more focusing on the fact that famous names do to not guarantee better sales.
