Inghild isn't sure if she should intervene, since the dog is trying to catch the tennis ball in it's mouth as it is pitched. Before she has time to yell, "Knock that off!" there is a terrific "YIPE" as the dog's head and the bat connect. The poor animal crashes into the grass, rolls on it's back and then darts under the back porch. Inghild lets out a slow breath, trying not to laugh out loud, while the two girls follow the dog to its sanctuary under the porch, apologizing and trying to coax it out. Eventually, with the help of some cheese, they manage to coax the dog back onto the lawn, and resume playing their game of fetch. This time, the dog keeps a safe distance away from Anneliese and her bat.

What I meant by causing problems is that animeonlies like MALfags, Suki, wikifags, etc already have their preconcieved ideas of what SM is like, and the VN translated will fuck with that, cue their endless bitching. The Western fanbase can be cancerous as fuck at times, if the numerous MAL threads and such didn't already make that plain. It's like some of them just can't grasp the higher concepts present in ML, and just...don't possess emotional maturity to understand people or their motivations. They miss the whole point of Muv Luv at times.

Theo sucked down the glass of sweet, clear liquid greedily, and his body felt warm. His sister led him to Beatrix's room, and opened the door in using a copy of the key. Beatrix sat at her own desk, poring over an plans for an upcoming operation. In these days, something as insignificant as a birthday was hardly something to celebrate, let alone disrupt the regular schedule. at least that's how Beatrix felt. She hadn't had anything to celebrate for a long time. She looked up from her work upon the entrance of a new person to her sanctuary.
"...Theo?" Beatrix squinted into the darkness. Her desklamp illuminated little other than the papers below it, and it took her a while to adjust. Theo stepped into the light, smiled nervously, and shook his head.
"Jurgen!?" Momentarily fooled despite herself, Beatrix drops her pen, and her jaw. As she slowly realizes that it is, in fact, Theo, albeit now with blond hair, she she hides her face behind her palm, and smiles sadly.
"Lise and the rest... they put you up to this, didn't they? Oh well." Beatrix gets up and crosses the room. before placing a hand firmly on the tails of Theo's tie. Theo tries to shrink back away from the burning gaze of her ruby eyes, now only ten centimeters from his own. The girl gives him a predatory, lupine smile.
"Well, this will do. If only for the night. Jurgen, Get your pants off and get on the bed. Now."

An hour later, Theo can hardly move. The girl who is now curled into him has wrung every last ounce of vitality out of his tired frame. Although she instantly recognized him, Beatrix seems to have banished every last memory of Theodore Eberbach from her mind. Right now, Beatrix has him wrapped in a protective, territorial embrace. She's somberly stroking his hair, his head pressed into her bosom.
"Jurgen... please. Don't leave me here... It's been so hard."
Theo freezes. She called out the other man's name loudly and lovingly as he made love to her, but now, in the still of the night, Beatrix is showing him a side of herself that living person has ever seen.
"Please... I can't do this without you. It's so hard..."
Beatrix is crying now. Theo can feel the loss and loneliness and despair emanating from her. Beside him is a girl with nothing. Absolutely nothing.
"I can't... I can't come back. I can't be the girl I was. I've done too much. I couldn't ever ask you to love me."
Theo shudders. Somewhere inside him, he feels something. A voice emerges, a voice that does not seem to belong to him.
"Bea... shhh." Theo looks up. 'Is this really me?' he asks himself. He never called her by that name, nor has he ever heard a person call her that. Still, it feels so overwhelmingly right that he cannot call her anything else.
"Bea... It hurts to see you crying like this." Beatrix sniffs, struck by the voice she is hearing. She gazes into Theo's eyes with a mixture of confusion and longing. Theo, for his part, doesn't know why he is saying this. These words do not seem to be his own.
"Bea, no matter what, I'll always love you. I'll always wait for you."
Theo strokes her cheek. After a moment, the spirit --was it a spirit?-- finally passes. Beatrix is asleep, a tired smile on her face. He soon joins her.
The next morning, Beatrix is back to normal.
"Eberbach... if you tell anyone about last night, I'll kill you."
She means it.
"And go fix your hair."
