Why is Whitebeard so overrated? He literally got taken down by fodders and achieved absolutely nothing before he died. Even when he fought Akainu, the only thing he achieved was to give the Admiral some nosebleed, in exchange for half his fucking face. Granted an Admiral is comparable to strength to a Yonko, but despite of this I would have expected the World's strongest man to at least give Akainu a parting gift, (scar, lost limb etc.). From the looks of it, even Aokiji did far better than Whitebeard.

The prison battlefield was a huge advantage though. Magellan's biggest problem is mobility, his Venom Road is handy but takes time to set up. Out in the open, characters can better avoid his attacks and his gases are less effective too.

But ok here's the real argument. In OP power levels can't really be gauged as a lot of things play into effect. With the luffy and crocodile fight, Crocodile could have won by all means. What caused luffy to win was 1) crocodile underestimated him and overestimated himself 2) crocodile just like all villians didn't make sure to kill the hero 3) luffy is an extremely lucky person
If even one of these elements was missing then crocodile could have taken him out the first time around. So to say the will of D will make someone go farther doesn't mean he will win. And who is to say someone else's will isn't just as strong? Like WB isn't a D yet fights on par with two of them? So in terms of just raw fighting skills and power I don't think sengoku or Kong loses to any of them.

Akainu vs Aokiji lasted for 10 days for god's sake, and try to remember how devastating their attacks are. Akainu's magma punch couldn't go through Marco's defense and hurt him either. It seems pretty clear fights of that level are of endurance because their haki nullifies most of the attack's strengh, just use ones like Luffy vs Dofla as reference.
Marco was considered as the next possible Yonko if not for BB. Seems pretty clear he's not far from the admiral's strengh.

He could have just been a few years in after Rogers death who knows. He said he wasn't slacking off but that doesn't mean he was yonko level at the time either.
