Early series Hisako was a shitty satellite character who's sole purpose was being a protective fangirl for Erina. Characters like that cheapen an entire work, since nobody wakes in the morning just to spend every waking hour doting over one other person and shut out everybody else.
Her being allowed to come into her own and be friendly with people who aren't Erina is a good thing, both for the character and for SnS in general.
