I finished watching S2 like a moth ago and I am surprised about how much end up loving it. Is not the kind of show that ends in my favorites list but I somehow got charmed by the simple, innocent, easygoing story of a group of ditsy girls becoming friends.
Some anons told me that is better to not marathon it but I think is better marathon the the first 3 or 4 episodes and if you enjoy it then take it easy from there.

One of the best anime ever.
Up there with the other masterpieces of the medium.
Probably the weakest of the popular slice of life anime. I am a big fan of slice of life and cute girls do cute thing but I think k-on getting recommended so often as a first SoL show is one of the main reasons why people dismiss the SoL genre.

Nah I watched NNB, Gochiusa, Kiniro Mosaic, and other shows with cute girls and they were fine but still think that Yotsuba, K-on and Azumanga are my favorite lighthearted comedy SOL.
If anything the newest shows feel weakest because they rely to much on the moe (some shows even use lewdness) to keep people interested.
Yotsuba is still my favorite but K-on very good too.
