Fair. Personally I think 5 and 6 are about equal in terms of amount of various merits and it's a matter of entirely personal taste which one you prefer, personally I'd also place 6 higher because I loved the insane stand ideas like Sky High and while the gang felt less like a coherent group, it also didn't have anyone as bad as Trish or anyone as unnecssary as Fugo - but I can see why some people might dislike Hermes and Emporio.
Also, 8 might fall down depending on the big bad and conclusion, but it's bound to be in top 3 thanks to Araki finally overcoming the villain of the week formula and making Aisho, Yotsuyu and Damo normal characters rather than mere one arc obstacles; the second half of part 6 and most of 7 already move in that direction but only with Jojolion it could finally blossom.

That was 3 chapters on it's own plus they put the first half a chapter or so of The Lock into it as well. It could have been faster but I'm glad that the way they did it means that The Lock was one episode. It was kinda slow but I prefer it to the 5 chapters an episode treatment which resulted in DIO's World in the anime. At that point it's basically an audiovisual recap of the manga which is kind of pointless because I could just go reread the manga. I foresee Yukako being only a tiny bit shorter, but it'll definitely spill over into a third episode but there's no way it'll take up 3 on it's own. My guess is that Surface will take up the first half of Yukako 1 as well so that way even though there'll be 3 episodes listed as being the Yukako ones it'll only take up 2.5 max.
The slow pace is kind of annoying but I prefer it to getting some really slow bits and some retardedly fast.

PHF is pretty much canon since Araki did the art for it and the guy who wrote it planned it out with Araki himself. I'm pretty sure that Araki has outright said it's the ending to Fugo's character arc that he wanted to do but couldn't and he overall seems quite happy about PHFso it may as well be canon. The next closest is Over Heaven which is decent but nothing special. It has a few suspicious things in it like DIO apparently always respecting his father and hating his mother which goes against what was established in Part 1, but aside from that it doesn't really have anything wrong with it, it's just unremarkable. 4th Another Day is decent as well and has no reason not to be canon. He speeds up molecules in a ring like and using string theory or some shit like that, he uses those speeding molecules to outright cut a segment of space and time away and can then place it elsewhere. He can't interact with anything in the cut spacetime until he place it somewhere else again. So he can cut out the moment someone falls over and then move it around and place it somewhere else, like over a dog shit so when it's placed the guy's fall will continue in the new spot and he'll land in dogshit. Flashback guy is Jesus in Johnny's body. He's an immortal but not a Rock Human but he works for the Rock Humans pretending to be a normal human. He wants to keep peace with the Rock Humans because in ancient times he tried wiping them out but discovered that they can spawn from the Devil's Palm in Arizona or the Wall Eyes in Morioh since those are actually old Rock Human tombs. He pretends to be human but tries to guide their decision making subtly.
Joshuu lives but he only gets one proper fight against Damo which he jobs only for Kyo to save him.
Karera isn't a Rock Human but Damo finds out from researching her that she's the great granddaughter of a Nip general from World War 2 who massacred Rock Humans on New Guinea for the Rokakaka, and she's only around to try and fuck Josuke and steal the magic fruit her asshole great grandfather told her about.

Jotaro and Gwess are hard to count since Jotaro is only at the beginning and end while Gwess was the first fight and she only ever shows up once after that for a few panels in a later chapter. Plus Hermes is out of action for a while (about the same length of time as Kakyoin) and FF dies halfway through. The only consistent ones Jolyne, Emporio, still Hermes despite her lengthy absence and Weather and Annasui even though they're only introduced like a third of the way in.

It's because he'd injured DIO's leg earlier and he couldn't target DIO since he'd regenerate so he had to shatter TW so DIO wouldn't regenerate. It was already weakened but DIO was too high to notice so Jotaro went right for it with all of his strength. It was still plot armour but it at least had some decent logic behind it.
