The only card Yuto gave to Yuya was DRXD. He didn't get the RUM or Dark Requiem. If Yuto wanted to give Yuya a fighting chance, he would have given the RUM/Break Sword/DRXD/DReqXD instead.
Yuto had to literally break into dimension space and go to standard to retrieve his cards to give to Yuya. Maybe that's what he was doing all the time in Synchro before part 2 of the Friendship cup.
