Is this objectively the best psychological thriller anime ever made?
Ignoring the memes and shitposting, the premise, characters, story telling, and plot twists are fucking top notch. It's probably the closest thing to a true 10/10 in all anime.

There isn't someone who tries out smarting Lelouch for large portions of the series.
Yup, I've seen every psychological thriller anime & this was the best. I've rewatched it like 3 times already.
Monster is good but slow as fuck. Would have been better if it had a faster pacing.

Closest would be Cornelia (s1) and her older brother (r2), with Xingke (his arc) and arguably Suzaku pulling off the phone trick as an exception.
