I know the overwhelming opinion is that the anime is a steaming mess but the fifth episode felt significantly better than the previous ones. Maybe the poor animation (barring the OP) has become less noticeable or the attempt at using recognizable tracks is working but the anime feels a bit more watchable.
Yuki Kaji is still not fitting for Phoenix though.
