In simplified terms, AB bloodtype is the result of parents contributing an A and B to the child.
O is the result of parents contributing i and i.
A and B are both dominant over i. So the parents can be Ai and Bi -> can produce children of Ai (A type), AB, Bi (B type), and ii (O type) blood.
