Mirai Nikki is a better trainwreck. Big Order is a bettet comedy.
It's an interesting premise wasted on a formulaic "teenagers with super powers have to fight" plot. The romantic subplot is the best part, but even that's not handled all that well. The show bounces back and forth between "true romance" and "this chick is a psycho bitch" in a way that feels like it was written by two different people, or the main character has amnesia, because it's a bit too sloppy to really sell the yandere angle in a believable way.
One funny thing you can do while watching is replace the word "diary" with "Stand," and it totally works as a bad JoJo fanfiction.

The Stand thing works infinitely better with Big Order, though. It's the bastard child of Mirai Nikki, Code Geass, and Jojo. And it's great.

If you can get past it's glaring issues like the outlandish writing and annoying mc, it's a great anime to marathon. The villains are so crazy and over the top in certain instances that it makes the show worth while.
Also witness the birth of a flagship yandere in Yuno if you're into that.

It's very entertaining. Anyone who took it seriously from the beginning deserves to be disappointed.
I still believe ESUNO entirely knows that he's writing for comedic effect, especially after how hilarious the ending was.
