Another thing to note is that this bloody print is pretty high up on the tree. It is taller than the others so whatever it slashed there must have been either held up by something, or was that tall. The creature itself must also be fairly tall, so a baby/small bear is likely out of the question as >>140925042 was saying.
Next, who's blood it is. At this point, the only one it could be is Yottsun unless it's the blood of someone we haven't seen yet. This makes things a bit complicated, because that would mean this thing killed Yottsun, and not Masaki as some anons think. But if Masaki didn't kill Yottsun, what exactly is Masaki feeling guilty about? She shows clear signs of feeling guilty about something through episodes 3 and 4.

Instead of using dumb metaphors, tell me exactly what I am supposedly lacking. I have the capacity to walk. I can prove this by walking. I also have the capacity to stand still. I can prove this by standing still. If I stand still in a scenario which is such that there is no reason to believe that I couldn't walk as well, then it's my free choice to stand still. Of course I cannot decide whether or not I decide to stand still. But that's not because of determnism, but because the idea of "deciding decisions" is nonsensical.

The one thing I don't understand is why the GTFO group didn't just follow the road back. They found their way to the bus which crashed not far away from the road.
