You know what the really funny part of the story is?
Nishi was right. No, think about it: Kei holds back from destroying the alien control tower, which would mean death for the aliens, right?
But at the end of the story, we see that the alien space colony has crashed and killed all the aliens. Basically, Kei only extended the conflict. If he'd just gone "Fuck you, aliens" humanity would've won immediately.
Can I also add that Kei was clearly cheating in the last fight? It was supposed to be a one-on-one, but all the Gantzers dogpiled him. Not their finest hour.

Of all the shit that happened, the thing I remember most was that room they went in that contained the two god-like aliens (they bleed out their eyes when they arrive) that has random faces come out its stomach/face (once was a pug?!). And tells them there's no God and it doesn't really give a shit about humanity because humanity doesn't mean SHIT. See, I'll make your dead friends alive again and kill them again because fuck you.
Then like a fucking BOSS, Kei jumps at it with sword drawn just to be killed. The dude tried to kick the ass of the strongest being in the known universe. Yeah, story was all over the place, but I won't forget that scene anytime soon.
