The romance in Takae's route needed better pacing and the rush of sex scenes at the end is a huge minus. Margit's route was clearly designed for the player to be aiming for the harem ending and if you enjoy the route or not completely depends on how much you like the squad itself, I liked the squad so I had no real issues. The Margit solo ending was clearly an afterthought and even then the wedding could easily happen in the harem ending anyway; Ranking the squad members would be hard as well
There was also some minor sprite problems in Takae's route which made her character go into the crying sprite spontaneously rather than her default face.
I think I've already said enough about Yoshitsune's route but I'll leave it at this. If I didn't have to play the rest of the route in order to discuss it properly I would have just dropped the route after getting the Aki ending (Which I got before Yoshitsune's), Even the temptation of a Yoshitsune/Benkei threesome wasn't enough to keep me wanting to finish the route.

I have a different opinion than you about A5, except for Margit's route which I have the same opinion. I personally liked Yoshitsune's route a lot, while I disliked Takae's route by the same amount.
Let's start with the easy one, Margit. A huge improvement over her route in S, I personally liked a lot in this route. The biggest problem I had there is with the Hound unit, which gets so much attention that they clearly overshadow Margit a lot of times. The only reason that doesn't make me angry is that I like nearly all members of the Hound unit. And yeah, this route official ending is the Harem one, which I'm not sure I like. I wouldn't have minded not having a harem honestly, and I like harem endings so that speaks a lot.
For Yoshitsune, I personally liked how cute she is during the entire route, specially after she and Yamato started going out. Personally, I feel Yoshitsune's route follows the same formula as Benkei's route, with the difference that Yoshitsune is clearly not interested in Yamato as Benkei was before the route starts. I also didn't feel like Aki overshadowed Yoshitsune in the route, both of them had their own charm and their interactions with each other were quite nice. And I also liked that we were able to know a bit more about the clones' past too. I do admit I already liked her from the beginning, but even with that I was not disappointed about her route. Though honestly, why force a B&Y ending? It clearly didn't fit, honestly. And again, I'm a guy who enjoys those kind of situations in VN.

And for Takae, I tried and tried, but couldn't like her. They put sooooo much focus on her bad luck that it was starting to be really annoying. It started good with the desert part, but the suddenly we go back to days before and then we're forced to see constant interactions with Yamato (who suddenly becomes obsessed with Takae) and Takae that usually ends in her rejecting him because of her bad luck. It really got old fast. The desert part was good, but then it ended, and we went back to the same antics. I had to force myself to watch the end honestly. She is cute in that route, but I wish they would have put more focus on other things rather than her bad luck.
Funny thing about her route though, is that they dismissed the route in S as if it had never happened, so that means they completely dropped anything that related the anime with the games LOL.
Also, I wasn't expecting animated scenes in Yoshitsune's route, which have much better quality than the ones in S. Maybe they're hinting at the possibility of an anime with S as focus? If they do, ffs do it good this time.
And as for ratings, Yoshitsune > Margit > Takae. As it stands out, A2 > A1 = A5 > A3 >>>>>> A4. Not sure if they will milk the series, but if they do, please do a Kokoro After so we put more focus into Kokoro's family. And an after-story for all clones, please.

This, btw, happens in A, as a flashback to the reason why they decided to marry during the marriage scene. Mikado was even congratulating her for being more daring than her siblings, but then she said the reason she did was because they both loved each other. Then Mikado proposes that since they love each other, they should just marry, which prompts another drink choke situation.
After that scene which Mon explains to Yamato, he decides to take the initiative and decides to propose to Mon. She happily agrees, and then they go back to the marriage scene. And then the entire route is about their own married life while in school and during vacations. It's a really nice after route in which there's plenty of moments that makes you smile because of how cute Monshirou is and the romance between the two. The Valentine part is one of my favourites.

Well, as for me, the guy who put that 5/10, I personally felt like it was a really bland route. Sure, the interactions between the Kazama family and the West School were nice, but about the route itself, well, there was barely any stuff between Yamato and Homura worth reading, and Yamato itself didn't feel like Yamato at all.
The only reason I didn't put that low score is because I personally had a good time with those interactions I mentioned before. Otherwise I would have ranked it low. It was a lot of wasted potential. That goes for the entire A4.

same opinion for margit route. i think it was clear they intended the harem ending when they made lisa, a man hating women, to be sexed and dere for yamato despite it being an AFTER route. stuff like harem belongs as a possibility in the routes as an alternative ending, but after stories are supposed to be epilogues so the fact lisa got sexed by yamato at all in an after route asks whether it was a flag by minatosoft for better things for lisa in the future (since the bit is unavoidable unlike the rest of the hounds, and there are other bits concerning lisa that make her stand out more) or that margits route is just not to be taken seriously (again, harem and optional heroine scenes should be for actual route, not epilouge like after route)

Classic majikoi of school life boy meets girl, boy falls for girl (vice versa) and the two start dating with the bizare sportmanship of majikoi. whats not to like.
Azumi= 4/10 stuck a bad cord with me. for starters, sprites of adult kazama family? when majikoi is supposed to be about school life? i get that its not 2009 anymore but this got under my skin. also, Azumi is in love with hideo for years, gets rejected and warms up to yamato is allright, but still left an odd impression. one thing i didnt like was the marriage scene in the MIDDLE of the route since that sort of stuff belongs at the epilouges. and having a momoyo scene without a momoyo ending. just shameful!

As good as this was (praise lisa) it still left me feeling odd as it was more of a Advertisement for the hound unit than an epilouge route. the fact that lisa is sexed and falls for yamato regardless of decision made is proof they dont take margit too seriously as they made someone else love yamato in an AFTER route. normal route would be okay but after is about happily ever after, not new girl introduced to be loving, but its lisa (best) so im allright with it so long as she gets her own story out of it and interacts with yamato without him having a gf to see more of how she'd be naturally with yamato before falling for him.
Cosmia is a huge cute plus. i expected her to be annoying but she's adorable (not a lolicon though)
Sigren, Thelma and Fine are a bit of a let down as they are just copies of cliche type characters; sigren the airhead, Thelma the 'never approve until i do' type, and fine the bookworm order keeper.
cant help but feel that the route focused more on bits of lisa more than it should have, but again, its like they are presenting her off for a future installment. if i had one bad thing to say (other than she got sexed in another characters route and does not have her own ending yet) is that her bikini sprite keeps SWITCHING HER WRISTBAND!
