It would be a good death. Plus, it would solve the problem most film adaptations have, of fitting enough of the source material into the runtime.
Problem: there may not be enough material from the manga to do a film.
Solution:adapt another work entirely, but set in the Teekyuuverse and with the characters played by the Teekyuu characters.
