Episode 3: "Errand Boy Sakamoto/Love Hide & Seek" airing in 12 hours.
I had not been keeping up with the Special section on the official website. I noticed that people were able to vote for which episode (or rather, half episode. chapter?) they wanted to see at the advance screening event that was held on April 23rd.

Notable absences from this list of chapters were any two-parters such as the Hayabusa chapters or the cultural festival. Also missing from the choices were any chapters from volume 4, save chapter 20, Erlkönig. Does anyone know which one won in the end?
I just read the manga. It was so fucking good. Everyone has been saying that the comic timing works better in the manga but so far I think it works better in the anime. Hard to compare so far though because chapter 3-4/episode 2 was the worst in the manga.

Did you read all of the manga, including the raw parts of volume 4?

I read chapters 1 through 19. Did I miss something? I just felt like the stuff from episode 2 had the least fun with the premise. Like whatever a bunch of girls arguing over him. The girls aren't really that fun as the main subject of the episode/chapter, they're more fun as a foil or as fuel for the other characters in relation to Sakamoto. Like I really liked the chapter where he was renting porn for the guys and had to avoid the girls.
I didn't mind the Mcdonald's chapter though I did feel like parts were slower and less fun than the majority of other chapters. Still, it had some really great parts like the "One smile please".
>you will never be Sakamoto
How do the rest of you deal with this?

>Thinking you deserve to be Sakamoto
>Thinking you could ever hope to live up to that standard every moment of every day
If we're lucky we will have a Sakamoto-esc moment once or twice in our lives. As for the man himself? I'd kill a man to touch a public toilet in a stall next to the toilet he used 3 years ago.

Oh, I was just wondering if you had read it all the way to the end (chapter 24). Scanlations are working on it.
I think chapter 6 is the point where Sano really got into the groove of her comedy, as we'll see in a few more hours. The characters' struggles after that point became more nuanced and Sakamoto's stunts became wackier in turn. The renting porn, poltergeist, and culture festival chapters are some of the best. Nothing can beat the emotional impact of the finale, however.

>Finale
It's over? Or do you mean the chapter with the mom? All her chapters were genuinely sad. Dad died when I was pretty young and as much as she tried to hide it it was really obvious how lonely mum was sometimes. Shit hit close to home. Nigga should have given her a little cheek smooch or something, come on you cool faggot.

I meant the end end, chapter 24.
>>140788428
So it ends at 24 chapters? I mean I guess, the shtick couldn't go on forever. I'd rather it end while I still want more. Looking forward to the translation.

tfw sakamoto will never work at a fastfood location near you.
tfw he will never blow in your ear with a straw
>>140788611
Was the straw some kind of Japanese thing I just don't get? Or was he assaulting him by making him question his own sexuality?
COOL
>>140788655
I think getting any amount of air blown directly into one's ear would be uncomfortable/startling, not to mention it was Sakamoto doing it.

The Summer of Acchan's Abandonment Issues is a pretty good chapter.
