It probably continues to do well, I just haven't gone past 62 yet. He moves the same speed as Ichi, and can only hit one enemy at a time but it's a huge burst damage, level 11 is 7k per attack on castles.

Just put him to level 6, I immediately see an issue where Shonosuke needs to be closer to an enemy, Totty gives a huge knockback and takes longer to attack. This is the problem with Ichi and Shono as well as Ichi also gives knockback, but because he attacks faster and hits many enemies, even though the entire stage may go a bit slower Ichi will protect all the Shonos from death as they come in from behind to give the brunt of the damage.
