Since I'm a filthy gaijin and don't know shit about Sazae-san besides its status as the longest running, cheapest to make, all around unbelievable behemoth that it is, I gotta wonder: Who keeps supporting this? Why so long? Will it ever end? Has anyone actually seen all the episodes in their entirety? I feel like watching all of Sazae-san is deserving a reward in and of itself.
Also, its been produced weekly for like, a million years right? It started back in the Showa era if I recall, and for it to have so many episodes would indicate at least a somewhat regular release schedule.
