That cliffhanger with Honoka being resolved right at the start with her saying "just kidding" kind of annoyed me even if it does somewhat end up being true later (it probably won't). I was interested in the seventh guy and thought this episode was pretty good otherwise but then it ends on a gag of him being a huge M.
I don't know what I was expecting from him but I was just disappointed because I thought the mystery of him and the searching him out made for a good episode and had me curious.

I wasn't expecting too much from this show knowing it was an Aniplex original with Okada writing the scripts at a studio that fits neither their producers nor her tendencies towards trying to grimdark everything up but even I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it's been so far even if a lot of what I expected them to try to do with it has already come to pass. I don't know man, it's like I can't lower my expectations enough for their originals anymore.

I can't be the only one who actually likes this show.
I know people were expecting some kind of crazy goofy wacky joke show from the makers of inferno cop, but it's decent enough at what it's doing. The characters are unique and interact well with each other, the visuals are solid and the show balances a focus that's interesting without being overly serious and some light comedy pretty well.
I know it's inevitably going to go full Okada by episode 8 and turn to shit, but at least while it's having fun with these episodic mission-of-the-week episodes and character introductions, it's entertaining.

Godlike visuals and the Trigger name is the only thing making me hold on.
This episode was much better though. The supporting cast has much better chemistry together and the comedic side of the story is getting better.
The MC is still awful, however. Whenever he is in a scene, without Tenga in it, the show becomes a real drag. The serious parts of the show are very melodramatic and hammy. It almost reaches the worst parts of Kokoro connect.
