These threads are fine as just that - threads. They are not explicitly related to Animu and Mango, leading to low-hanging fruit for shitposters and the English translations attached to them mean they are ostracized on /jp/, who is in turn ostracized and shit on by mods in general (see the /mgg/ general kicked there which basically killed the board).
There would be no problems if they weren't deleted on /a/, as they aren't typically 24/7 generals that this board has and they usually actually discuss shit.
