Im not talking about combat rolls.I mean personality. at first I was really interested in Kudelia since she got put down in the first few eps (even if it sounded bit like "you can never understand the feelings of the opressed"etc) I excepted her to grow in an interesting direction but then she spend many episodes just doing nothing or moping around. despite mika telling her to not be full of her self in the first eps she joins the mafia going all "I already have blood on my hands" only to crumble the first time she sees a guy bleeding out.she is essentially starting a war with hope that after the war the new rights will make people happy while trying to ignore all the little girls that will have to work in whore houses like Atra. Relena's attitude was annoying but at least her actions were less damaging (maybe I just don't remember it well)since Marina Ismail each "princess" character type seems to be getting dumber and more annoying.
Diana is god tier on the other hand.

Kudelia was growing the whole time. She started off as the symbol of independence through her words alone. She knew about the suffering of the people but the effects of war were something alien to her until she met with tekkadan. Various events made her rethink what she thought she had understood but didn't fully grasp. Somewhere along the line she went from a representative of the people to being fully responsible for the lives of people.

It was complete fucking garbage. It was decent up until about episode 7, then it got offensively bad. It's what happens when people who don't know or watch Gundam read up on the series on wikipedia, and then ask a hack like Okada to write a script that focuses on shitty melodrama masquerading as a slow burning plot and retarded characters instead of any real war like conflict or mobile suits.
It's really hard to describe how poorly every aspect of the story was handled, so just go watch the original Gundam and then see how the series should be done.
