It depends on how much stock there will be. For obscenely popular series you should have no problem, but this could easily go the other way with GSC not making enough stock and them selling out ASAP. Nendos of popular series rarely stick around on sites like Amiami after they've been released so your next bet would be auction sites or Mandarake, where they could be an extra 1/2/3k depending. Honestly I'd recommend to keep an eye on the pre-order period.

Amiami updates at the same time every night so when the time comes make sure that you're logged in and don't stop refreshing the page until you see him and have him pre-ordered for certain. It can become a hassle to find aftermarket items (especially if you are not used to buyfagging in the first place) at a reasonable price if they sell out quickly after release. Once they sell out at places like amiami, they won't be brought back unless the manufacturer decides to rerelease them later (months-years time IF ever). Aftermarket prices for nendos from popular series are likely to be higher than their preorder prices.
