Eh, I can see that mentality, but Part 4 really shows off what the stands can do, and has more creative stand fights than part 3, and is an over all better ride. And SBR changes the stands up a bit and gives stand fights a different feeling than earlier parts. Honestly my philosophy is read the first twenty chapters or so of a part, and if you absolutely don't wanna give it more of a change, or keep reading, skip it. I agree that parts 1-3 should be read though, other than that you can skip around and pick out which parts you wanna read or not. Though you could also say that The Hand's power not only erases but also violently joins the surrounding space as well. In that case, yes, it also involves movement. While the pots were on top of a wall, so they just "fell" on Okuyasu rather than being thrown. But visually it looks cooler if they're thrown, so.

Stardust Crusaders is probably second last, maybe third last, for me overall. But I think it has my favorite overall aesthetic.
The hotbloodedness of it, the character designs, Egypt and the whole desert look, the simplicity of the main party Stands, DIO.
The idea of Part 3 will always hold a special place in my heart, but it's execution is just inferiors compared to 2, 4, 6, 7, and 8.
