The action is awful because the author is attempting to coat the entire manga in realism but the fights are far from it and as much as he dwindles himself around asspulls and tries to make valid explanations but they all fall short because at the end of the day the entire manga rides on these retarded asspulls, were we're supposed to suspend disbelief that this autistic kid is beating everyone that clearly outmatches him. Because like I said, suspending disbelief is not something that works for stories that try to give a realist expression such as this.
The fights aside the romance is complete generic garbage, super hot chick falls in love with beta autistic kid. Why? Who knows, 'cause it's the same ol' power fantasy shit that has been done before in countless kiddie manga because people easily self insert into it I imagine.
The technical aspects in the fights aren't bad but that doesn't mean the fights are actually realistic, it's just the techniques detailed in them that gives that illusion. Seeing the MC go bananas is also kinda cool but it's still not very well written.
