why k-on exactly? you'd imagine someone would watch/listen to something written by actual germans than germans translating japanese. those are completely different languages and different grammar structures. Even english subtitles are loosely translated from japanese. Why would you think germans would have a better understanding than english speakers?

It's still not really the best way to check your language skills though, german anime dubs are pretty shit, with acting that is all over the place and rather dubious dialogue choices.
