I can sort of get why they would use CGI on Sidonia, where nearly all the action involves mechs, but why the fuck would they use CGI shit on an anime adaptation that would clearly be centered on character animation for the action?

I never watch or read a series beyond the first 10-20 chapters or 3-4 epissodes if it hasnt managed to capture my interest yet.
But sometimes it happens that a series does manage to get really good or have a really good arc after that threshold (I am a Hero, Tokyo Ghoul, Tsugumono, and Samidare for example).
Sometimes youre too busy reading and wanting to find out whats gonna happen next out of pure curiosity and you end up reading the whole thing but it doesnt mean you actually enjoyed it.
Either way, its always worth to ask wether it gets better since you never know when you will find something you will really enjoy.
