When I was still a little boy my uncle gave me this one manga book for my birthday. I wan't to find out what it was called (something like exxection or sometiong).
It was about a futuristic japan, where people lived together with an alien race, which would share it's technology with the humans. At a certain point (in the first chapter) it would turn out that they were actually planning to invade the earth and enslave humankind, so all these robots and ufos would turn up and start wrecking things. They even had a giant robot (in the picture) which could send detonating lasers all around the world. Luckily some secret human organization also built some powerful robot which they then unleash to fight the aliens (piloted by some highschool kid).
Anybody know what it was called?
