My first few shows were what was airing on Adult Swim back around 2003. My first fansubbed show was pic related, which also happened to be my first ecchi. It was a strange experience getting aroused by cartoons for the first time.

I watched some ecchi in my childhood - Love Hina, Ranma 1/2, Cinderella Boy... there was also Sakura Wars and Monkey Typhoon but I can't remember anymore if these could be called so - so I got kind of insensitive to it once I started watching it on the internet. I used to think nudity was just something Japaneses were used to, and it wasn't lewd at all in my eyes. It took me some time to understand what actually was fanservice
