More like worst girl lost and got the consolation prize. I was actually really surprised the story went that way. I'm proud of Okada for having the balls to stick it to the Naruse just because she's the main heroine. I also liked the fact that just because Takumi was rooting for her and helping her out didn't mean that he loved her. Too many anime go down that path, and it's usually cheap. "I Like her cause she smiled at me." or "I like him because he's nice". A prime example of that was that stupid Comet Lucifer shit show.

Better than most of the shit she's done lately, but I wouldn't say it's her best.
how can it be a mangum opus when it's like a 5/10. The start was nice, comfy and funny, but it got pretty bad towards the second half. The only nice thing about the second half was how the main guy actually didn't end up with the main girl.

Okada is better when the story is shorter, so this movie is a contender for her best. It's my favorite I've seen.
NNA was interesting but feels so freaking long because the drama is its main focus and it's really drawn out. She wrote three 10-minute stories called Koitabi True Tours Nanto that's worth checking out if you thought True Tears was OK.

I am fine with this however I wasn't ok with what takumi said to justify the rejection, he said he loved Natsumi even though no real relationship between the two was established, sure we got a couple of scenes with them but they bottled down to showing that they couldn't really understand each other.
The lack of a real relationship between Takumi and Natsumi is only made clearer in the manga that establishes that their relationship when they were dating was just
