It's pretty good early on. It gets much less interesting once you drop into the infinite Rescue Arc > Training Arc > Repeat loop that the entire rest of the plot becomes.

I thought it was good early on. Fun school shenanigans with Rukia and that stuffed tiger thing especially. Soul society arc was great. After that, it got bad.
Maybe I'll reread it up to the end of the soul society arc when I have some free time. It's been like 6 years since I first read it.

Some of the filler is alright, but avoid most of it.
Bleach is great, the arrancar arc is just really fucking long and toss in tons of filler and you get a lot of salty boys.
Depends on if you like one on ones for fights as that's the majority of the show.The last animated arc was pretty well animated and Ichigo crying over his family and friends being brainwashed was pretty entertaining to watch.

They are sitting on it waiting for the manga to end. When it does they will either animate the last arc from where they left off. Or if by some miracle the manga ends well and gets a good enough reception they will do a complete remake of the anime.

Like most have told you, it actually great for the first few arcs, quirky somewhat different shonen that's gets more standard in its second arc but also more epic.
After the first rescue arc though......it basically is complete shit besides a few awesome fights.
