Lets get a Dagashi Kashi thread going i did't think i would like it at first then it got the hooks in me with all these great characters
I really liked the manga, but the anime's slow pace made me drop it around episode 5. The chapters by contrast are short andsweet.
Dagashi is fun.
And then you keep watching it and realise there's not really much worth watching
i've started re watching it subbed and dubbed great show

I wish we had more of his chapters. The "Cocoa Cigarettes" chapter comes to mind; they could have expanded it to show us more Hotaru fanservice from Kokonotsu's imagination, give us an idea of what his mother looks like, and shown us what exactly they did to get off the rock. Then we could have had this as an eyecatch.

Almost zero. It really didn't do very well but it was expected to anyway. The manga saw a boost from the anime though and I guess that's what really counts.
