compared to ONE's OPM, both the writing and the art is better. You can see the difference between a gag series, and a series that often relies on gags but also has some depth to it, themes its trying to convey, etc.

Timeline is fucked, I'm pretty sure Mob was made before Murata picked it up. Or the otherway. Anyways, at least we can now laugh to people who denied Mob ever getting an adaption when OPM was announced to get one.

I don't really see how OPM is any different. I actually don't get the "gag manga" label the series gets either. OPM has worldbuilding, a few character arcs, several dramatic scenes, themes of heroism and power, and several plot threads. The manga/webcomic tends to be comedic in nature, yes, but there are some long periods in the story without a single gag.
Also, the last arc in MOB is terrible.

ONE is bad at drawing and he knows that, he was about to quit when Murata says that he wants to redraw OPM, but ONE put effort in Mob and it's really a good manga, I like it even with the shitty drawing and that's how you know that a story is good.
