damn, that was trippy
not sure what to make of it
was it a clusterfuck, stroke of genius or a bunch or random shit stuffed into a movie?

It is how ever way you percieve it.

I think it's pretty well structured. Inu Curry did serious work.
>>139863891
it looks as if she just shat out her soul gem and then pulled her short up
Sayaka did EVERYTHING WRONG
>>139869155
Sayaka did EVERYTHING right.
>Homura can suddenly become stronger than a god just because she said the word love
>Homura can physically pull apart an entity that exists in all point of space and time and realities and timeline just for yuri pandering
>Kyouko didn't even do anything
>Nagisa was unnecessary and added nothing
>Homura is now a demon even though all she did was make happy endings for the other girls. The "devil" thing was just to be edgy and didn't even make sense even in the context of the movie.
Rebellion was pretty. But the writing was shit.

I sometimes think academia exists to provide jobs to useless people.
>>139869895
It's either academia or the unemployment office
Might as well get some use out of them

>Homura can suddenly become stronger than a god just because she said the word love
>Wished to be strong enough to protect Madoka
Her wish came true you stupid fuck. She calls herself a demon because the movie focused on her psychological state. Nagisa was there to show something was wrong (witches existing) and her character existed on the cutting room floor of the series. Kyoko had a whole 20 minute role that revealed the twist in the first half.

>wished to be strong enough to protect Madoka
1. She wished to re-do her meeting with Madoka, not become stronger than the Law of Cycles itself. She already re-did her meeting with Madoka and became a magical girl. Why would she be given more strength after her wish was already fulfilled. Does this mean Kamijou became Deadpool just because Sayaka wished to heal him? He would just keep regenerating whenever he gets injured? The wish just keeps going forever?
How come Mami still died in that timeline where she wished to live? I thought her wish came true? I thought wishes kept going after they came true for the first time? You're incredibly inconsistent, and the writing/story itself proves you wrong.
2. Homura PHYSICALLY pulling the Law of Cycles still makes no sense considering it was supposed to exist in many realities/timelines at the same time. Why would Homura be capable of taking away a chunk of it? Oh yeah to pander to yurifags or for shock value.
>she calls herself a demon because of her psychological state
It still doesn't make sense. She gave everyone else a happy ending. That's not what demons do. The mind state of a demon would be not to make Madoka happy. Even in its own context this movie fails.
The only reason for Homura turning into a cringe-worthy poorly written devil character is just to be edgy and to get fedoras like you discussing the movie. That's literally it.
