That's chapter 5 of Angelo's arc, this episode went up to 4. The beginning of next episode will be Angelo telling them about the arrow and then getting stoned completely. Araki has a pretty good track record for a series that's run this long and it's entirely due to the fact that the series is always moving forwards and doesn't drag itself down with looking back all the time.

Araki seemingly always has a different tone in mind from the beginning of a part than at the end of it. The only exceptions are 1 and 2 for being so short and 5 which I think was consistent in it's tone from the beginning throughout (while not as consistent with a lot of other elements).
Trying to remember if Part 4 had more chapters than Part 3. Think they'll fit it all in 2 cours?

Part 2 is a direct sequel with returning characters: Speedwagon, Straits, Erina. It deals directly with part 1, the origin of the stone mask, Joseph is Jonathan grandson.
Part 3 is a direct sequel again. Joseph and Dio are returning characters, with Suzi Q being a minor returning character. This basically takes off where the end of part 1 left off.
Part 4 is the first break since the central arc of the series is now over, with DIO being defeated. However Araki retconned the bow and arrow into existence so part 4 becomes somewhat related to part 3. Jotaro and Joseph both are returning characters, meaning it stretched back 2 parts, so even though the main plot is mostly just slice of life murder mystery stuff in a japanese town, it still has the legacy.
Part 5 starts with Jotaro and Koichi investigating Dio's son, and has Polnareff at the end, but nothing ever comes of the initial premise of Jotaro and Koichi trying to make good relations with Giorno and/or investigate him (they both disappear with no closure at the start). Polnareff feels really randomly thrown in at the end. Overall Vento Aureo ends up feeling like an overly long jojo side story, because Araki didn't link it in with previous JoJo enough. This is the first part to not feature the previous part's JoJo since part 2, but Jonathan was dead.
Part 6 returns to the "main" story with DIO featuring prominently, and the main villain is his successor. Jotaro from part 3 is the only returning character. Again the previous part's JoJo is nowhere to be seen.
I think part 5 and 6 would have been received far better had:

To hook in part 3 fans who had just come down from the most grandiose, herculean battle of series that had been building up for 3 whole parts.
Going from that to slice of life hijinks is an extreme tonal shift. I guarantee there will be a lot anime only friends who drop the series after a few episodes. They want "GAR manly epicness", which to be fair is awesome and all, and won't understand why JoJo has suddenly become a murder mystery slice of life.

Some electricity guy tries to kill joseph when he comes to meet his son.
Theres a frog like guy that uses his power to make money by collecting coins and he makes friends with MC. They bicker over the money and fight a little but make up before final boss kills him for finding out he exists.
Magic manga guy makes manga from peoples memories and stuff so they have to stop him from being a dick.
Cool thing about part 4 is that they don't just kill all the people they meet and characters outside the MC cast get focus for some arcs.

3 has 154 and 4 has 174. They could do it but it'd be a pretty tight squeeze. iirc 5 has 155 and 6 has 158, so they'd fit 48 episodes easily. Then 7 was 96 but it switched to monthly chapters about 20 chapters in so it's like the same length as DiU technically, and 8 is 52 monthly chapters so far.

It's been finished for a while. It's common knowledge that the SBRverse is completely separate from the Ireneverse. It's been finished for over a decade anon. And the ending of Part 6 didn't make it all for nothing, the main cast's souls are now in new bodies that finally got to have normal lives free from DIO and Pucci's bullshit. That was the point of 6. The series was never building to anything huge like that, each part was meant to be it's own thing and 6 was intended to be the thematic end of the series.

Sorry, I don't think this one is going to grow on me even with the additions in upcoming episodes. It's still just a generic harem show OP and the animation isn't impressive at all to make up for the switch from 3D. We go from high-energy amazing animation OPs, with subtle details hidden in practically every frame, to this generic barely-animated whatever. We've all seen this OP a million times. It's trying way too hard to look like Persona 4 while not even pulling it off as well. Song starts off strong but lands on meh by the end of it, just another OP song with vague disco influences but not enough to be flavor the song and stop it from being boring. Definitely the worst OP yet. Only seem real sick ass BITES ZA DUSTO stuff would redeem it a little.

Very nice. Song was an excellent choice and the artwork definitely looks like stuff that Araki himself would draw. The pose Josuke strikes at the end of the road is especially good. It's pretty obvious that they're trying to make Josuke look like a real dreamboat for those fujobux, and I don't mind at all because it's pretty true to the manga stylistically.

-new minimalist style allows them to save budget for when it really matters, I don't expect another Episode 47 DIO's World fiasco

-overall the anime just looks really nice, it's pleasing to the eye and they really capture Josuke well visually
-I like the new Josuke voice actor, he's real good, but his DORAs are fuckin weak man. Who thought it was a good idea for Crazy Diamond Koichi is considerably worse than ASB but who cares about him.
-The filler they add is good.
-Going by what we've seen so far, this will be good but not live up to the manga. Something about the recent anime adaptions captures the superficial elements of JoJo but not the heart and soul. Stands usually look good, voice acting is good, artstyle is good. But emotional moments feel cheapened, some of the subtleties are just missing, they often bungle the tension of fights, some things are presented as comedic when they shouldn't be and some things are too serious and we linger on them for just too long. At the end of the day I think the new directors just aren't as good as the people who handled Part 1 and 2 animes.
