He was an actor and a friend of Aka who often listened to her troubles.He got into an accident (hospitalized) protecting Aka and messed up his face a bit. Because of this his career as an actor is taking a turn for the worse (could be over) and she feels responsible about it.
He has a one sided love toward her. He knows that she is going out with the MC, but with her being there and the end of his career, he impulsively pushes her down in the hospital bed. He tests her limits, fingers her and stuff, and maybe got it in (look at image spoiler for your own speculation). He stops though.
