Personally I find her intolerable. I personally prefer Gaen because Gaen actively enjoys being superior and generally has the bigger picture in mind.
Hanekawa is wasting her potential only taking on smaller jobs like Tsubasa Sleeping where she could be put to better use and helping more people by using her smarts to start her own network centered around herself and forever variable Araragi Koyomi.

Most stories don't write the majority of their characters as main characters.
It only works because they change the POV to a specific character that isn't Araragi and then finish it off with their view of Araragi.
So Tsubasa's view of Araragi was of a badass motherfucker who appears in the nick of time to slay her flaming pussy while Kanbaru sees him as a wonderful source of life advice in a hard time where she's lost and confused.
Araragi is at his best when viewed at by other people, his two best moments have been when viewed as a hero and as an idol.
Though for all this tl;dr, NisiO's best characters are actually the ones we don't know shit about. The Exorcists are pretty much his best written characters.
