This is by far the worst opening that i have seen in at least 3 years. They got everything about it wrong, the animation, the music, the concept, the camera angles.

Why couldn't they have just gotten Bones to do it? They did fine with the anime cutscenes in the games, even if they weren't especially detailed. As well, why Yuuki Kaji? He's trying to make his voice sound deeper than usual but it still comes off as jarring for Phoenix. I really wanted this adaptation to be good but it seems as bad as the usual game to anime adaptation.

Played the games, watched the first episodes and this is my conclusion / open questions:
1. Why didn't they use for the bgm instead of the iconic ost from the games? (The two remixes don't count)
2. The animation looks in some parts cheap. Why did capcom commission a1-pictures to do the job, when AA5/PLvsAA had Bones to do it. Heck even the pachinko animation looks closer to the game.
(If time was the problem, capcom could have delayed it until Bones had more capacity)
3. Why did the first case felt so rushed? No "Hold it!" parts just instant figuring out the answer.
