Watching it right now for the first time.

How can Yuki be so perfect?
>>
>>139539953
I was really obsessed with it back then, I even read the LNs which I never did for any other series.
I think it was mainly the mixed broadcast order that made it so fun and interesting at first.
Like many others I got over it when Season 2 came out. The movie was a nice farewell to the series.

The bottom line is that Haruhi gave me fond memories but it's not something I wish to go back to.

I hope what I just wrote made any sense.

Literally engineered by a superior intelligence.

>>139542481
So, you don't want to waste time/brain being obsessed about it?
>>

>I got over it when Season 2
I'm pretty sure that's just season 2 being terrible. I never actually watched all the endless8 episodes and the other half wasn't good either.
>>
>>139542604
Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody was good, and Sighs started slow but last few episodes were interesting.
>>
Hi /a/. I watched Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu and I think it was a little bit confuse but what's the next thing I have to watch?
>>
>>139544633
Haruhi S2
The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya
Read the Light Novels
Wait for S3.

Is Disappearance of Yuki worth watching?
>>
>>139545307
It should just disappear

It's okay but disappointing since the characters are nothing like their original counterparts

Yuki is so cute

I tried watching it because it's the season 3 we never got. I managed to stay past episode 1 because of Asakura but still haven't managed to finish the show.

I had no idea the endless 8 was coming, what it was called, or how long it would be and refused to pause and look it up while it was happening to me. I got ill while marathoning it, but I soldiered on. I don't intent to rewatch it, though.

Thanks (I think) for the interesting time!
>>
>>139548351
It's really frustrating but it helps understand another part of the show better.
>>
>>139538256
You just reminded me to re-watch this
>>
I watched endless eight with eagerness. The suffering gave ep 8 a glorious cathartic feeling. I rewatch that episode from time to time.
>>
In the anime Disappearance takes place after Endless Eight, which makes sense, but The Rampage of Haruhi Suzumiya light novel (which contains Endless Eight) was released after Disappearance. Were the light novels also released out of chronological order?
>>
>>139546817
Yes.
Yuki is the best "Rei Ayanami clone"
>>
>>139548927
Yeah. LN5 contains both stories that happen before and after Disappearance.

Most of the LN is in chronological order though.
>>
>>139549007
That's confusing as hell.
Should I keep that in mind when I read them?
>>
>>139549164
The anime covered everything before Disappearance, all the new stories (they begin in LN5) are placed chronologically between themselves, so it's not hard to understand. Besides, Kyon makes recaps every now and then, and LN7-11 are 100% chronological.
>>
too bad s3 never

stream in 1 hour, I think.

We're watching End of Evangelion in 1 hours to finnish Eva's birthday. Haruhi comes afterwards I bellieve
>>
>>139549430
Is that the only part that's not chronological?
>>
>>139549817
>>139550016
>>
>>139550173
If I recall well, LN5-6 have Endless Eight, that episode with the computer game, Live Alive and Episode 00 with Mikuru Asahina, which were all covered by the anime and happened before Disappearance. Everything new is put chronologically :

Snowy Mountain Syndrom (LN5) > Disappearance Epilogue (LN6) > LN7 > LN8 > LN9 > LN10 > LN11

Ah ok, thank you
