Second cour as a whole did feel kind of weak in comparison to the first, but Counterattack was one of the better segments in that repertoire. I didn't much care for 16 despite what it showed for Ichimatsu, but it's been pretty good.
Them experimenting with different stories was interesting to see, but when it came to drama the plot was coming miles away. They can tell a decent story, but they were just not very captivating, especially on rewatches.
Was not a fan of the team spamming certain faces and lines, though. It felt cheap to see the Totty face after the first couple of times, and whatever the hell the second half of 25 was kind of bland.

The only serious episodes I liked was episode 5 and Jyushi In Love, but only because we got to see another side of him. AV-chan is bland as fuck and has no personality so it's hard for me to care about her. Chibita's Flower episode was cringe worthy and forced but at least the girl had character to her.
Episode 24 B also felt liked forced drama. Everyone suddenly gets a job, moves out, and no one is happy. I don't dislike the concept, but it could have been done so much better. Glad it got dropped.
